My services

I work one-on-one with clients in my online private practice, where my focus is using nutrition and lifestyle interventions to help folks with digestive issues, autoimmune conditions, and hormone- or reproductive-related concerns like endometriosis, PCOS, fertility, pelvic pain, or period problems reduce their symptoms and improve their health.

I’m based in New York, but I work with clients anywhere in the United States, of any gender, over video chat or by phone.

My services are highly personalized to each client and paced according to your unique goals and needs. It’s important to note that functional nutrition counseling is a dynamic process that unfolds over time, not a one-and-done deal, and I tend to work with clients for a period of around 4-9 months in most cases. I offer a three-tier sliding scale fee structure to help make my services more accessible, and am committed a philosophy of holistic wellness that includes community care and collective liberation.

Interested in becoming a client? Please keep reading below for more details and then fill out my application for new clients. The application just asks for some basic information about your health and what you’re looking for help with so I can confirm that my services will be a good fit for your needs.

Please be aware that I work with a limited number of people at one time in order to provide the type of highly personalized support that I’ve found gets the best outcome. As a result, I usually have spots for new clients opening up every 2-3 months or so. After I receive your application, I’ll be in touch over email about setting up your first appointment.

Your first appointment

Our first appointment is a 90-minute intake session. Prior to our meeting, you’ll complete some questionnaires and a food journal so that I can get familiar with your goals and your full health history before we meet. During our appointment, you’ll have plenty of time to share your health concerns and your story without feeling rushed.

I’ll also review any recent lab work you may have available and share my perspective on your case. Together we’ll start to make a plan that encompasses food, lifestyle, and supplement suggestions, and we’ll discuss a realistic timeframe for working. Every time we meet, you’ll receive a recap of the next steps that we discussed so you don’t have to worry about taking notes or trying to remember lots of details during our appointments.

Then after our initial intake session, you’re eligible to enroll in my monthly membership program for ongoing support and follow up sessions.

Sliding scale: $450 / $375 / $300

Monthly follow-up sessions

Ongoing support is offered as a monthly membership that includes one follow-up session per month (up to 60 minutes) and email support between sessions. You also get customized protocols from me, access to functional lab testing at cost, and a 20% discount on any supplements purchased through my Fullscript.com dispensary. You’ll also receive resources, supplement suggestions, and lab testing recommendations as appropriate.

At each follow up appointment, we will discuss how your nutrition plan is going and continue to build on our work from previous sessions, progressing step-by-step at whatever pace you’re comfortable with. If I’ve recommended any lab tests, we’ll review the results together so that you understand exactly what they mean and what your options are for moving forward.

I’ve created the container of a monthly membership for clients because I’ve found consistent contact helps us get the best results. Regular check-ins also allow me to address any questions or concerns in-depth, make further recommendations, and keep your plan updated accordingly.

I tend to work with most clients somewhere in the range of 4-9 months on average, but this is highly dependent upon each individual’s situation. At our first appointment, we will discuss the timeframe I’d recommend working together before we reassess things, but there’s no obligation and you can always cancel your membership at any time.

Sliding scale: $295 / $245 / $195 per month

About my sliding scale

It's important to me to provide inclusive and accessible services while also supporting my clients to the very best of my ability. With those goals in mind, I offer a self-selecting sliding scale with 3 tiers of participation.

I trust your ability to self-select the payment option most appropriate and in integrity with your needs while accounting for your privileges, access to resources, and any systemic barriers you may face. My services are the same regardless of which tier on the sliding scale you select.

Considerations for payment

One-on-one functional nutrition counseling is a highly personalized process that requires a significant amount of education and skill, and a lot of behind-the-scenes time on the part of the practitioner. Further, the number of spots available in my practice is limited to a relatively small number of clients each month in order to allow me to best offer the type of in-depth care and ongoing support that I’m committed to providing.

  • When you choose to pay full price, you’re paying an amount that reflects the true cost of my services. As such, you’re helping me comfortably support myself, allowing me invest in my business and ongoing education, and making it possible for me to contribute to my community. You’re also helping to support those paying at the other end of the sliding scale.

  • When you choose the discounted middle rate, you’re helping me pay bills and cover costs associated with operating a nutrition practice and maintaining my credentials.

  • When choose the most deeply discounted rate, you’re allowing your community to collectively come together to support you with the care you deserve.

All of these are acceptable ways of paying and there is no difference in services provided. I recognize that even with a sliding scale, my services may still be inaccessible to some, and if that’s the case I invite you to email me so we can explore the possibilities for working together.

Sliding Scale Guidelines:

  • Consider paying less on the scale if you experience violence or discrimination as a result of race, gender, disability, or sexual orientation; if you are unemployed or underemployed; struggle to meet basic needs are or are in a financially precarious situation; if your finances have been depleted by long-term chronic illness or disability; or if you have dependents or are a caretaker.

  • Consider paying more on the scale if you can comfortably meet your needs; are able to travel recreationally; have savings or investments; have access to generational wealth; own your own home or easily afford rent; or benefit from racial, class, or gender privilege.

This sliding scale template is inspired by and adapted from Little Red Bird Botanicals, Constellation Tattoo Collective, Ride Free Fearless Money, and Dr. Nicole Charles’s course Embodying Equity.
